Turn off the Lights
Minneapolis will be turning off its lights. Like other cities before it, MN wants to save the lives of migrating birds.
Birds that migrate are naturally drawn to lights and often times collide with buildings or hover over them until they cannot anymore.
The interesting part is that the city spends so much time thinking about saving these migrating birds but they don’t necessarily care for the ones they eat nearly daily for meals.
